Goal:This web was created by Mrs. Koeppen, fourth grade teacher. Mrs. Koeppen wanted fourth graders to know the different aspects of the Southwestern region of the United States by use of the web and activities provided on the web.
Objectives:
1. locate and distinguish various landforms of the Southwest
2. briefly compare and contrast various aspects of the Southwest to the other four regions of the United States (landforms and climates)
3. explain how physical features influence the Southwest
4. understand natural resources and contributions
5. understand and discuss other cultures and their influence on the Southwest
